A good 5.1-channel system will give you a full surround sound experience. Most DVD, Blu-ray media, broadcast TV, and many streaming sources are in 5.1-channel format.

Audio/video (A/V) receivers, processors, and amplifiers are the hub of a home cinema, unleashing the potential of a multichannel surround sound system.
